But what is it that they despise? Class doesn’t explain it. The Democrat base has plenty of middle and lower class people. No, the difference is something we aren’t allowed to talk about: it’s race. Sure, elected GOP officials are mostly the same race as their base. That doesn’t stop the hatred.
I’m glad Tucker pointed out the hatred. The why is every bit as important, but talking about it would get Tucker taken off the air and likely banned from the internet.
Of course it’s race. That’s why they knee-jerk said that storming the Capital building was racist. That’s why so many libs came out to whine that if it had been blacks storming the building, they’d have been treated more harshly. Everything is race with these people. They hate white people, and whites need to wake up to that.
It's not race, it's ethics.
Republicans resent that their base holds them to higher standards than the Democrats are held to by their voters.
That puts Republicans in the position of actually having to work for their votes, make promises, and then defend their actions. These are things their Democrat counterparts don't have to do, and the Republicans hate it.
To them, the double standard is not that the MSM let's the Democrats get away with everything, it's their own voters do not.
