I'm amazed at the amount of racism people will tolerate and simply be ok with it. Morons.

What could be more “White”than telling African-Americans to “ be quiet and turn down their boom boxes” while in the library.

So, the libraries themselves will be doing the book burning now, not just mobs in the streets.
Nice.

The woman who started the first library in town and served as librarian was reportedly part Native American and part black, in addition to whatever "whiteness" she experienced. Surprising that a sheltered NE town would allow such a thing!
I wish these people would cut the BS, but we are doomed to hear much more of it now.:(

I'm amazed at the amount of racism people will tolerate and simply be ok with it. Indeed. In fact some people even embrace and promote it. Naively thinking it will never apply to them or their family.

I thought libraries were created to share knowledge and hence the privilege of education with everyone, regardless of origin.
Leftists always turns everything upside down.

One example she lists is when “when a librarian of color is mistaken for a library assistant by white colleagues.”How is it possible to prevent a person from mistaking another person (of whatever color) for a mere assistant?
If it's a colleague, then of course they should already know the librarian by name, right? And not mistake him/her for an assistant, right?

Libraries are where books are. Most books are written by white people.
To: cymbeline
..and, as it turns out...read by white people, too
that would explain why the Barnes and Noble bookstores are the only stores that survive BLM riots in any given city.

Time to start rebuilding my personal library with the classics that they will soon be ceasing to print, and burning the existing copies of.

This mentality didn’t just happen overnight. It’s been a steady, gradual, but very persistent infiltration for decades. It was mocked and ridiculed, but never countered. Conservatives saw the education system taken over, saw their children being indoctrinated with Leftist ideas, and basically did nothing. It didn’t go away when it was ignored. It saw the opportunity to take over. The indoctrinated generations now demand a communist government. And the power hungry democrats are happy to oblige.

The problem is that too many people don’t call them out on their idiotic plans publicly and ridicule their stupidity and they win by default because the good people do nothing.

In essence they are saying libraries are racist because black people can’t read. It’s the same “soft bigotry of low expectations” that black people are too stupid to know how or where to get a state issued ID in order to vote.

A person has to have a desire to learn, and an open mind to absorb it.
