A Trump supporter cried in the lobby of the Capitol Hill Hotel on Thursday as she poured herself a cup of coffee and told her friend that her son had disowned her for joining in Wednesday's chaos at the U.S. Capitol. But minutes later, when the driver of a car yelled at a group of haggard Trump supporters to "get the f--- out of our city," she joined a chorus of others to respond with their own expletives.
While supporters of President Donald Trump checked out of their hotels in Washington on Thursday morning, sharing feelings of sadness, anger, defensiveness and paranoia with one another, residents of the nation's capital said they were glad to see them leave after a day of terror.
"As a brown person, I wasn't allowed to go out," said a man who lives near Capitol Hill, who asked to remain anonymous because he is a government employee. "I watched it on television. It's really unbelievable that something like that could happen. When the BLM protests were going on, we saw so much more police presence. I don't know or understand what happened yesterday."
Trump supporters did not have many answers, either, although they provided numerous conspiracy theories.
As many of Trump's fiercest partisans packed their cars or ordered rides to the airport, they talked about their experiences and developed fresh ideas about potential cabals aimed at undermining them. They appeared to make many leaps about how a protest in support of Trump in the early afternoon became a full-blown riot within the chambers of Congress by the time the sun set over the Potomac River.

Just an outright falsehood. They were allowed to riot, loot, burn, vandalize and pillage for months on end this past sumer, and cried about "police brutality" when one of them got a face full of mace for stealing.

Question- Can we claim that Antifa inflitrated and instigated, but still claim that the people killed/injured or photographed inside were/are ‘patriots’.
Do we get it both ways in that Antifa is to blame for the violence and actual breaching, but that the actions of some were patriotic?
I ask because I have been condemned for being consistent; I think a full measure of force should have been used on the scum who destroyed cities in 2020, but also on anyone disrupting on the 6th.
I don’t like protestors, period, regardless of even if they are protesting for something I agree with, but I’d probably have been a Loyalist right up to the second of the signing of the Declaration, admittedly.
I had to laugh when Jimmy Carter commented on this because he was the one who ordered the release of the. Puerto Rican terrorists who shot up the Capitol in 1954, and the lefties gave them a heroes welcome.
And I note the media hasn’t even mentioned that attack so they can forward the narrative that this kind of thing is unprecedented.

I would add one more little tidbit, one of the first things the terrorists did when they left prison was to fly to New York to go to the UN and gave a news conference there. Unbelievable!

The issue being avoided by the MSM is election integrity. What needs to be done was outlined in Trump's speech.
If alleged election irregularities are not addressed and properly fixed, our country is over.
The Left will continue to marginalize and denigrate the Right, while removing their ability to even voice an objection or alternate opinion. Great way to create a pressure cooker situation by backing people into a corner.
