1. The War of 1812---in 1811, the British Army invaded Washington. British troops partially burned the Capitol on August 24, 1814. Reconstruction took about four years.
2. A bomb in the Senate---On July 2, 1915, German professor Eric Muenter exploded a bomb in the Senate's reception room, aiming to stop American support of the Allies. He later tried to assassinate the son of the financier, who served as Great Britain’s principal purchasing agent for munitions. He committed suicide a few days later.
3. Puerto Rican nationalists---On March 1, 1954, four P/R nationalists shot 30 rounds from semi-automatic pistols from the Ladies’ Gallery, a House balcony .....advocating Puerto Rican independence from the U.S. They unfurled a Puerto Rican flag and began shooting at representatives while the House debated an immigration bill.
4. A leftist bombing----On March 1, 1971, the radical Weather Underground exploded a bomb on the ground floor of the U.S. Capitol as a demonstration against U.S. involvement in Laos. Pres Nixon denounced the bombing as a “shocking act of violence that will outrage all Americans.”
5. A second leftist bombing----On Nov 7, 1983 the leftist terrorist group Armed Resistance Unit took responsibility for detonating a bomb in the lobby outside the office of Senate Minority Leader Robert Byrd. The terrorists claimed they intended to protest the invasion of Grenada. After 4 1/2 years of investigation, federal agents arrested six terrorists and charged them with the bombings of the Capitol, Fort McNair, and the Washington Navy Yard.
6. The murder of two police officers---On July 24, 1998, Russell Eugene Weston, Jr. burst into the Capitol and opened fire, killing two Capitol Police officers, Jacob Chestnut and John Gibson. Weston’s motives remain unknown and he faced murder charges for the shootings..... he was committed to a mental institution with paranoid schizophrenia.

Have you heard estimates on the size of the crowd at Pres. Trump’s speech & then at the Capitol? It looked like more at his speech, but that may be because they weren’t as packed together when they got to the Capitol.

They’ve been rioting for years, but somehow, only now are they outraged.
After a crowd of protestors stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, a chorus of calls for the removal of President Trump via the 25th Amendment or another impeachment were heard from the left......yet, the protests and violence on Jan. 6, pales in comparison to what we’ve seen from Democrats and their viciously violent supporters.
Remember Obama is a vis Ferguson, Missouri..... “Get up and get in their faces;” or, “If they bring a knife, you bring a gun;” or, Val/Jar’s threats: “We will reward our friends and punish our enemies.”
Let’s look at President Trump’s 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton, and the riots that followed.
Then there was the Brett Kavanaugh USSC hearings, when a pro-abortion mob invaded the U.S. Capitol, threatened to “shut it down” ...... “fired up” by Democrat Sen Elizabeth Warren.
There was violent banging on the doors of the Supreme Court, occupied the Hart Senate Office Building, and accosted multiple U.S. senators. All we have to do is look back at 2020.
Throughout 2020, for months on end, in dozens of American cities, numerous mobs ....... committed violent crimes, arson, and threatened law-abiding citizens.....
One braindead lawmaker, Jerry Nadler, said these were “peaceful protests.”
These are “talking points” ..... now do you “get it?”

Mayor Muriel Bowow activated 340 National Guard troops ahead of a gathering of Trump supporters in DC on Wednesday, anticipating potential unrest on the streets of DC.
“We will not allow people to incite violence, intimidate our residents or cause destruction in our city,” said Bowser in a prepared statement.
Unfortunately, she didn’t see fit to do so when DC was in full riots back in early June of this year, and people were getting hurt.

‘Epoch times has an 18 hour or more account of everything that happened in dc. they put on youtube. But, they are not sure its still there or not. They are a really good group! They are what the NYT should be but never will.
