I am saddened by what occurred at the nation's Capitol building on Wednesday. Such mob violence, especially against the nation's institutions of government, must be firmly and unequivocally condemned.
For my entire lifetime, the Republican Party has been the party of law and order and has zealously honored the Constitution. We must and will continue to be.
Most conservatives are rightly condemning the violence, but it should be noted that this is not typical of people on the right. We almost never behave this way, and we don't embrace it.
Extreme leftists routinely engage in violence. In the last year alone, we have seen widespread leftist violence and the Democratic leadership's total indifference to it. This is not to excuse the violence or engage in whataboutism; rather, we must recognize the Democrats' double standard and not enable the false narrative that this is who we are. We also need to determine whether, and the extent to which, antifa types were behind this.
There will be much chest-thumping from those who've long argued that President Donald Trump is evil personified and who say that he incited his supporters' violence. They'll say his supporters are just a violent mob waiting for their dear leader to instruct them so they can go ballistic, that Trump and his supporters are the ones who threaten the Constitution, not the tolerant, peaceful left -- you know, the left that jealously guards "our democracy."
These are the same leftists who never let a crisis go to waste, and they smell blood in the water now that some administration officials are resigning. They will go all out these next two weeks.
But remember: As much as the left genuinely hates Trump, the endless assaults on him have never been primarily about him or his alleged threat to democracy but about thwarting his agenda. Yes, inveterate Trump haters loathe every molecule of his body, but they care far more about advancing their secular religion of political and cultural leftism, and anyone who gets in their way must be destroyed. Trump got in their way -- and so did his supporters, so, they, too, have to be demonized.
Have we been asleep the last four years? Have we not seen the slander of our entire movement as intrinsically racist? Have people audacious enough to wear MAGA hats or wave Trump flags not been vilified as vicious racists and haters? We won't stand for it.
I recently wrote a column in which I urged Trump supporters not to become dispirited or give up the fight. I must reiterate, especially after Wednesday's events, that we must now be stronger than ever. The left still remains the greatest threat to our republican form of government, to capitalism, to prosperity, to law and order, to our national identity and to any hope of harmony among the American people, the last of which you can't possibly have as long as the left continues to paint 74 million people as hateful racists, sexists and homophobes.
Let's not forget what Trump has accomplished in office and how he has articulated and driven an agenda that has led to unprecedented (pre-COVID) prosperity. His successful policy prescriptions for America are as viable now as when he took office.
Though the left would love nothing more, Trump supporters are not going away. The same bill of complaints leading to Trump's ascension remains. Trump didn't arise in a vacuum, and the left's mission to fundamentally transform America that gave birth to Trump and Trumpism is not only alive and well but is even more dangerous now that Democrats have captured control of the two political branches of our government.
Of course the left wants to finally destroy Trump and prevent him from ever returning to the Oval Office. But it also intends to eviscerate the movement he began. It wants to send a signal that no one else better try to challenge its hegemony.
It hopes to escalate this conflict and remove Trump with just two weeks remaining in his term -- not because it truly fears he'll do something crazy but to ensure that whatever damage he may have done to himself is amplified and contaminates his legacy and his entire movement.
What is at stake is the survival of the conservative agenda, and the rebuilding and expansion of the Republican Party. We can't afford to lose heart. We have an urgent responsibility to stay in the fight, to redouble our efforts to resist the left's destructive agenda and to continue to pursue America's greatness.

This is much bigger than Trump. Always has been. My wife and I have talked about this for years. Eventually the communists were going to get into TOTAL power. Trump woke up a lot of people who were asleep and now you can’t change that. This happened a mite faster than I figured but not surprised. If the Rats and RINOS think they’ll be able to squash all that will happen is our steel will get more resolved.
Trump’s agenda is OVER. It ended on Tuesday when enough of our voters sided with Lin Wood and Democrat trolls who told us to boycott the Georgia elections. Now the courts will be quickly packed and everything that Trump worked so hard for will quickly end.
We’re now a One-Party country, and we, and even many of the Democrat voters who also didn’t want that outcome, will now have to live out their lives under the thumbs of the radicals they just empowered. The smart ones will simply pack their bags and leave (just as the smart Jews in Europe read the writing on the wall and left in time), and the smartest ones won’t wait around thinking it will get better, because it won’t - and those people know that the days of Americans being welcomed in other countries are now numbered...just as it was for Jews in the 1930s.
With their judges in place and with a voting system that can’t even hold a candle to many Third World countries, the Democrats have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

Two things Biden said truthful, “our darkest days are ahead” and “we have created the most extensive vote fraud network ever”.

Elections are in 2 years. I remember the doom and gloom when Clinton was elected and held both houses...then the Republicans came in 2 years later.
Corporations actually run the country, not politicians and they want a stable growing economy.

in the primary with the other third going to a republican.
It should have been 60/40 at worst. Ballot packing in
democrat run counties, counted last as usual.

Even if he declassifies everything, some Intelligence Agent will not release it claiming National Security. They will disobey the Order at this point, protecting the Deep State, which is their livelyhood. Plus the MSM won’t touch it, relegating it to some ‘conspiracy theory’ internet news site.

Everybody condemns the violence and the occupation of the Capitol. I get that.
BUT do any of them think for a minute why these people did it? Do not try to claim it was the words of one guy.
People are PO’d that we have lost control of our Govt. Elections are rigged. Illegal immigrants get more perks that citizens etc.
Our representative Govt does not represent the people. It only represents itself.
I agree with you. POTUS come and POTUS go. What I see is a giant cultural divide in this country. A few, and I do mean few, populated areas are taking control of everything via voter fraud. That’s not going away, and it’s not sustainable. The left really needs to think about that. Here are a few of my take home points for people to ponder.
1. How popular is Congress? When the left wing nut rhetoric goes away, do you believe that Americans support Congress? How many from both sides have had enough of these jokers?
2. Biden and the Democrats made a lot of promises, how long before people see its hollow? What happens when Antifa and BLM figure it out?
3. China, China, China. It’s not going away. How’s that Democrat moral fiber going to deal with its violent expansion in the South Pacific? Biden been paid off, but he is now trapped by his own vice.
4. First POTUS in my lifetime to end conflicts, not start new ones, and bring troops home. Who is going to fight on foreign soil for Biden and the Democratic vote rigging machine?
5. Drugs. The cartels love the Democrats, the will up the violence and the inflow of drugs quickly. Watch as people suffer and institutions collapse under the weight.
6. Small business, and the lifeblood of the American economy. Democrats have done more since Obama to damage small business than anything I have ever seen in 50 years. These people will not recover under Biden, and that means stagnant economy, drugs, crime, and a government who can’t make the welfare payments real soon.
7. See above. Collapse of the dollar. Yes, people will be switching to another currency very shortly. Biden and his people are globalists, and they want the dollar gone. Watch Computer companies that mine currency, watch Bitcoin.
8. Planned market crash and 401k grab. Even the Federal reserve knows how bad the negative government spending is, we can’t even make interest payments without halving Medicare, social security, and the military. The destruction of the US economy, under Biden, will accelerate. Socialism grab of resources is their only option. So yes, buckle down folks it’s coming.
The reason they have made a big deal about Trump is that they are afraid he could be re-elected in a fair election, and they might not be able to cheat that much again. They know, that 4 more years of their treason, dirty deals, and anti American economy is going to hurt them next go around. That’s what they fear, that’s why they want to impeach.
The key is that it doesn’t matter, Trump has already pulled back the curtain and people have seen the uniparty for what it is. This isn’t going to go away, and as people suffer more and more they won’t feel that they have that much to loose. Honestly, the entire country is like the forest floor in California, all it will take is a long economic dry spell and a spark. It’s not about Trump, it’s about dirty Congress, dirty government, crazy courts, and irresponsible media.
These are times when we should realize that having all kinds of “hope” will not serve as an adequate repellant for warding off the coming swarms, if you know what I mean.
I noticed my YouTube feed had zero conservative politics suggestions today. Not even the World War 2 stuff.
