Shellshocked GOP ponders future with Trump
The Hill ^ | January 07 2021 | JONATHAN EASLEY,BRETT SAMUELS AND MORGAN CHALFANT

Shellshocked Republicans on Thursday said President Trump’s grip on the party is significantly weaker after he incited a mob to attack the Capitol, but some questioned whether their party would be free of his hold anytime soon.

The challenges to Trump are clearly mounting. There is chatter his Cabinet could invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him, an idea favored by at least one GOP lawmaker. Tensions between Trump and his long loyal vice president are clear, and there is evident anger in the Senate GOP with the president.

National Republicans interviewed by The Hill said Trump may have permanently alienated millions of center-right voters who were disgusted by Wednesday’s ugly scene.

The fear of a “MAGA” party is why they are trying to impeach President Trump with 12 days to go.

No. I think it’s something much more scary to them than that.

“once Trump exits.”

According to Trump he’s only just begun.

There are plenty of retards who think we can still advance America First Conservatism under what the bush leaguers call the GOP "brand". They are sadly retarded.

The WhiGOP has made it abundantly clear that they are complicit in the vote rigging, are committed to assisting the dems in dismantling the Constitution, and that they hate Conservatives.

You can't "primary" RINOs when the election process itself is fraudulent.

We can't win primaries under the WhiGOP, and we can't win the general under either the WhiGOP or some new MAGA party. Votes no longer matter in this global reset. Normalcy Bias is blinding folks to the reality of this new paradigm.

But by creating a new MAGA party right now and registering for it by the millions it will at least send the message that Conservatives aren't leaving the WhiGOP because they are mad at Trump, but rather that they are fed up with the nutless lying turtles.

They may be but based on the previous behavior of the GOPE it sounds accurate. They really for the most part believe their own propaganda. I have voted Republican since 1983 and I am here to tell you I am not interested in anything this party has to offer right now.

The GOPE is as corrupt and fraudulent as the deep state and they hate their base-right back at you quivering cowards. I have no use for them and currently plan on voting in local elections until the Democrats get to that level of theft and that is about it unless Trump runs again.

The Party pukes will believe this and pay for it in the next two election cycles. They think their good friends in the media are giving them good advice and their GOPE is an echo chamber.

If Trump says Kemp is not worth the effort hundreds of thousands will not vote for him or sit it out. Does it hurt the GOPE you bet. Does it hurt the country, I say no in the long run because candidates like Kemp sold us out anyway. The GOPE thinks they have slain their boogey man and they are firmly in charge again, but of what, they have no base other than the elites, Conservative Inc. and the consultants and a few mind numbed party worshipers. Good luck winning an election with that bunch of spineless dog turds.

Folks, Deep State just stole elections nationwide. They are likely holding the POTUS and First Family hostage. THEY DON’T NEED VOTERS ANY MORE.

This is exactly the case. The last pieces of the Iron Sphere has been put in place and we now live under a global police state that has all the technological tools to control every aspect of our lives.

People are still walking around as if things will go back to normal in 2022 or 2024. That ship sailed. The 3 branches of our government are now merely ceremonial. Neither pelousey or schmucky or biteme are calling the shots anymore.

The battle for top despot to control Earth is now between Davos and Beijing.

Every Freeper, regardless as to whether they were suck ups to the deep state or not, will be targeted for social credit, and probably much worse. Might as well die on our feet because kneeling doesn't actually save you:

Voting is too important a function for the public to perform.

Wishful thinking.

Bottom line - The GOP is dead. Nobody is going to trust them anymore to guarantee rule of law. It’s really that simple.

If you’re looking for justice, you’re on the wrong planet. If you’re a Christian you know justice will come. It might not be in our lives, but it will come.

Luke 18:7-8 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.

Bears long? Speedily? When it comes to prayer and the actions of God, observation and promise are admittedly hard to reconcile.

IF GOP ‘leaders; think Trump incited that riot, they deserve to never have any power ever gain.

The Antifa & BLM people that ran wild for 10 months could carry what ever Trump flags they could find & wear any number of MAGA items.

IF the GOP is that stupid, I don’t wish to be a registered Republican-—I have been such for 60 years.

The same cowards in the GOP refused to stand up to the election fraud. IF they think it was ONLY directed at Trump-—they will learn soon how wrong they are.

GOP is dead...

They sat by and allowed a flagrant theft and fraud of a national election...

About 2/3 are decent and 1/3 are just swamp/establishment... that’s how its always been...

I am done with them, and I know I am not the only one.

Name ONE Republican who has EVER drawn the crowds that Trump can draw.

ONE One

Reagan was popular-—but NO ONE tops Trump & his appeal to voters.

I guess counting votes in future election might o/nly take until midnight...

Between pre-determined Dem votes in the machines & NO ONE voting Republican...shouldn’t take long at all.

I can easily see a voting public with no long lines-—no delays-—

IF Trump starts another party-—that would be different.

These past months have been shameful...it doesn’t take a college education to recognize vote fraud in the counting.

The steel industry has a low number of employees because it was melted down & shipped elsewhere many years ago.

Those are very specialized jobs.

The unions have caused some of their own demise due to demands that were not realistic.

The steel coming from other countries isn’t near the quality of US steel, and we ALL depend on that steel for our transportation needs. The steel used in the New Bay Bridge in San Francisco has many problems...and it carries a vast amount of traffic.

I keep thinking about what you wrote. It resonates with me, yet I also think at least half the nation deserved to be saved — the hard-working, God-fearing patriots just trying to live our lives. I wonder if President Trump didn’t realize how greedy and treasonous our leaders in Washington are. Did we ourselves realize it until Trump came along and turned the light on, exposing the cockroaches in every governmental department, in the news media, in Hollywood, in big business, in education, in sports, in the military — even in the medical profession. It’s more than one man can overcome — or should be expected to overcome alone. We expected him to do what we failed to do on our watch — protect our values and freedoms and oversee our representatives.

Right now I am too depressed to decide what I am going to do for the future regarding politics. I had such high hopes under Trump, but the swamp is too extensive, powerful, and motivated. I am retired and can live my life and let the next generations decide their future. But for a start, I will certainly drop my registration as a Republican. The GOP is merely in bed with the Democrats. I will probably switch to Independent.

Thanks for your thought-provoking post.
