Mike Pompeo and Steve Mnuchin discussed using the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from office on Wednesday night, according to a report, but ultimately decided against it.
The Secretary of State and Treasury Secretary's deliberations were reported as the two top Democrats in Congress, Sen. Charles Schumer and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, reached out directly to Vice President Mike Pence Thursday to try to push him to act immediately to remove Trump from office, only to be rebuffed.
Pompeo and Mnuchin held discussions with their aides and staff, CNBC reported on Thursday.

Et tu Brutus?
Does anyone thing the info about Pence Ryan trying to run in 2016 has any validity?
Lin Wood also dropped info on this on Parler.
but it does show one thing.....they are very scared of Trump....very scared....
For fighting election fraud and calling for peaceful demonstrations?
Saying the word no to Pelosi would count as a discussion to the liberal media. fyi.
“Reported” = “Sources say” = BS
I heard, through anonymous sources tonight....Trump took a dump.
I also heard Jared was in the vicinity and stated “holy crap, can you at least bring peace to the ME before you nuke us all”
Especially considering he had to do it while under constant attack. He almost reminds me of a presidential Ginger Rogers ...have to dance like Alistair, but backwards whilst wearing heels. PDJT has had to be president while under immense challenges and insult, and he still managed to do a good job.
They’ll probably not get him with the 25th, and may not even try another impeachment, but the man a) be under lock and key until he’s out of office on the 20th and b) once he is out there are layers of prosecutor teams seeking to go after him and his family. They’ve been planning to do so for at least two years now, probably far longer, and will attempt both at the Federal and State level. He will have limited political cover in Washington, and as can be seen by his choice of Rudy and Jenna to fight his electoral cases (and the fact that LITERALLY no real big heavyweight legal firms would take his case because they’d be blackballed) shows that while he will successfully defend a good number of the cases there will be a couple vampires that will get through the defenses. It’s unclear if he can self-pardon, and I would not trust VP Pence to pardon him if PDJT resigned so that VP Pence can take over for a couple of days in order to issue a pardon. I think VP Pence can’t stand the President.
PDJT should nonetheless pardon his children to at least protect them. Or maybe he can consider leaving the country, but I doubt he’d do that. He’s a proud firm man, he’s a figure, he’s lose most of his assets, it would signal defeat, and he is a true American!
Anyway, I pray for the man. A flawed man, but a good man who always had America’s best interest at heart. May God keep him and his family safe.
We’re living in a post-truth country. All that matters is the narrative, and the left and their media mouthpieces control the narrative.
He’s a figure = he’s a fighter
I read it’s just 4chan toying with Wood.
They only control the narrative cause people let them
After all of the evil that has been done to him......I’ll bet some are.

As the election nominee process evolved on the Republican side, the RINOs and Never Trumpers were apoplectic at the thought Trump might actually win the
nomination and with General Flynn as a VP they knew their days would be numbered in single digits. Then how did Trump end up with Mike Pence, a Globalist, as his running mate?
If you think Pence is loyal to Trump you probably don’t even know about the Cleveland Deal made just before the Republican National Convention. Oathkeeper NavyJack @USNJack shares, “There are a LOT of NEO-CONs in the
cabinet (Pompeo, Coats, Haley, Perry, Cohn, Preiebus, etc.). All of them came with the Pence/Cleveland Deal. Paul Ryan was about to change the rules to allow delegates to vote however they wanted on the first ballot. Trump would not have been nominated.”
So how could Ryan alone change it? The rules had to be voted on by delegates. NavyJack shares, “And they would have voted for it had Ryan allowed it to come to a vote. He did not because of the deal.”
Did the Cleveland Deal include Pence/Ryan picking Trump’s cabinet for first year?
So, Trump picks Pence in July and by October the Globalist (DEMs, RINOs,Never Trumpers, etc) are in a panic. Trump is gaining ground on the Globalistpick – Hillary Clinton. Time is running out and their options are limited. So Pence and Ryan continue to connive:
Pence and Ryan were not on the Republican ballot at all so you must be wondering why they would be discussing hijacking a national presidential election.
It might be because they already knew some of their past sins were well known and discussed by the Trump Election team. By this time, they were already aware Hillary’s lead was slipping dramatically and most Bernie Sanders fans were not about to vote for Hillary.
What options did they have to sway voters and insure the globalist plan continued to move forward as many of their financial backers insisted?
So, Chase got busy after securing the guys under a non-disclosure to make a purse out of pig’s ears, well, a Pence-Ryan 2016 website from a napkin.
Good assessment. Agree 100%.
Lol almost none of them could pass 25A testing!
I believe the Deep State is trying to give Pence credibility he has not earned because he’s their insurance policy . Pence is supposed to step in and pretend to “lead” the public to safety if the DS removed Trump. But, the public is looking at Pence’s actual behavior, his inaction here, his actions there and deciding he’s not trustworthy, so they lose their “insurance policy.
So Nancy et. al. pretend they came up against “Mighty Mike Pence” with a fake story re 25th amendment and conservatives are supposed to decide they misjudged him, and he’s really a good guy. *smh*
The Deep State REALLY needs Mike Pence. Plan A was Biden (well, Kamala) and if he failed to steal the election then their plan b, Pence was their backup Plan B.
I agree with what you said. This is a terrible thing that’s happened.
Fair enough. I keep a lot of my opinions about things Trump does to myself, because overall the bottom line is, there is absolutely no one else out there that can do what Trump does.
I think of a line from The Caine Mutiny, where the lawyer dresses down the mutineers who had been acquitted...
“You’re learning that you don’t work with a Captain because you like the way he parts his hair; you work with him because *he’s GOT* the job, or you’re no good!”
That’s a lesson all Republicans in Washington should have learned with Trump. If they had his back, Trump would have been more effective. But of course, we all know too many Republicans in Washington, frankly did not want Trump to succeed.
