I don’t understand your math. 66 votes are needed in the senate to convict. If 7 GOP senators vote to remove, how do you get to 66?

The Dems only need 7 GOP Senators to convictThe current senate is 47 dimrats or independents caucusing with rats. If your 7 rinos defect or abstain (likely) that gives the rats 54 votes. They need 67 to convict.
