I am once again urging that President Trump be impeached and removed from office. We have a limited period of time in which to act. The nation cannot afford a drawn out process and I support bringing articles of impeachment directly to the House floor.

Mitch is still in charge until 20 January, he has control over whether or there will be an impeachment. He can call for an immediate vote but make it clear to the GOP Senators that while some may defect, they are not to take Trump down or the party will suffer.

I think Democrats don’t want to miss their recess for the next 10 days. It’s an empty threat to hold impeachment hearings. They rather have Trump’s cabinet do the dirty work.
