I know you live in a fantasy world where you think Trump could snap his fingers and have and hire anyone he wanted, but the fact of the matter is he could only appoint people that Mitch McConnell gave him the permission to. Mitch McConnell refused to go into recess the entire Trump presidency to prevent recess appointments.
In addition to McConnell, the terrorists in the pussy hats and antifa made it crystal clear to quality executive type people that they would be attacked in restaurants, hounded at their home, in personal danger on the street, and never able to hold a job again.This dried up the pool of top notch candidates that Trump always dreamed of bringing into the government.
