Muriel Bowser, the Democrat mayor of Washington, DC, held a press conference Thursday to declare a state of emergency following protesters’ violent attack on the Capitol Wednesday.
The response will include 6,200 members of the National Guard from across the country deployed being deployed in the city by the weekend, a seven-foot “unscalable fence” around the Capitol grounds, and possible stay-at-home or business shutdown orders. “We may have to do extraordinary things to maintain public safety,” Bowser said.

If Trump called for it then you would have seen a million people descend on the Capitol and still be holding it. Along with the GA Capitol. And maybe other states. Politicians would be hanging in the yards.
People have commented on the insufficient police presence yesterday. Did Antifa coordinate with the DC political leadership about their plan to invade the Capitol building?
This is the alternate reality projected by the left and will be dutifully reported by the media. She is establishing a military occupied city by Leftist friendly forces against an imaginary attack and indicating it may extend indefinitely because of her stated fears of an attack. Amazing.
She’s most likely both stupid and ignorant, but in this case she’s just lying. She using this as an excuse, that’s it. One would have to be dense to entertain for even a brief moment that she actually believes the lies flowing from her mouth.
