Please read the 12th Amendment and US Code title 2 and title 3 and then go read Pence’s 3 page letter and show us all where the President of the Senate had any choice other than to do what he did.

Pence went on to violate two of the constitutional provisions in the evening while earlier rejecting the provision that he had agreed to with President’s team. If he had objections to this, he should have told the team then, rather than stabbing the President in the back.
