Not to worry. They’ll have Geraldo out on an iceberg drawing maps.
The routing slip on the next revision may require the chop of the Chinese Liaison Officer, before final approval

If the Chinese Liaison Officer gets in the way of the expedited deal or makes a fuss, Xi will give him the chop. Xi covets all things US military, especially the acquisition of the US Navy which would greatly ease the long-planed invasion of Taiwan. Xi would buy the capital Coast Guard ships, if they weren’t mostly floating wreaks, especially the current ice breakers.
How do you now he came in the lowest? Our bidding processes are secret. You mush be a spy. And no, lowest bid does not always get the contract - it depends on how much built-in “padding” as well.
Check the correct boxes in an EEOA form and have a front person who plays the part?

Whatever - its your bid, so if you fail to include certain items in your internal bid estimates, you are still libel for their successful completion - even if you lose your shirt and declare bankruptcy. Else you’ll be hearing from our lawyers, who will introduce themselves by saying, “We are from the Government and are here to help.”
Looks like we'll have to get up to speed with the new procedures of the incoming Xi Administration (as well as whatever round-eyed puppets they use as front men). In the future, a Chinese Chop might be required in the approval chain of all such new policies...
I know what you meant, but I used ‘chop’ in its other Chinese context as in chop them up. Its that form of ‘chop’ which will prevail until things are settled on way or another, and not the seal chop. If you do not approve of the new policy, you get chopped. Up.
