Japan, a country of 139,000,000 people, has had 3600 covid deaths TOTAL.
They did not lock down their country. They did not destroy their economy.
They quarantine the sick and all those exposed to them.
The medical/government complex is killing us.
None of the Asian countries have been hit hard. This is a biological virus made to wipe out non orientals and it escaped the lab.. Japan has the oldest population of any country on the planet. They should have been decimated.
FIXED!
We can’t afford to quarantine all store employees who’ve been exposed, or all of the stores would be closed. That includes employees who were exposed to family members who tested positive from other employment. Same with people who work in some of the other services. I’ve known of quite a few people who were sick but not tested. It would be logistically impractical to repeatedly test them all.
So employees are screened when entering their workplaces (temperatures, questions, etc.). They wear clean, fitted masks and try to keep a little distance from customers. It’s about all that they can feasibly do.
They are a different kind of culture than we are- naturally socially distanced. I have also recently read that it’s coming back around to them hard and heavy. Covid is dynamic and I still maintain that everyone will either get Covid or the Covid vaccine. You can no more avoid it than you can avoid getting a common cold or gastroenteritis. If you are an especially susceptible host, it will be worse for you.
Japan I believe offers early treatment with steroids and possibly HCQ
It does not tell symptomatic people to stay home in bed until they cannot breathe
Any comparison of death rates should include comparing treatment protocols in early stage disease
There are also other factors...like not labeling every pneumonia death as covid
