One thing the masks and distancing have done is to disincline you to do things. Want to go out to eat? Maybe, but with all the hassle and risks, why? Take a vacation? Go to church? The masks are making us biased against human contact and disinclined to socialize. All part of the plan, I fear.
that's true, for sure, in my own life. Thinking about looking for a new car? I can hold on to the old car for another year. Restaurant? Too much trouble. Haircut? I can do it myself.
My whole life has been diminished down to a low essentials-only baseline.
