Yes, the crowd was trying to bust through the barricaded doors/windows. What were they thinking, that the police were just going to let this mob run through the halls of Congress to do God knows what? There are many other videos of this scene where the people are yelling “break it down, we are going in.” Cell phone nation, nothing is hidden any longer.

You can’t allow riots in one city and do nothing and condemn riots in another city. If I recall, The Wisconsin state capital was under siege during the Scott Walker recall riots, nary a word of condemnation. Can’t have two sets of rules, that is a big problem and the media is a BIG part of it.
