That’s a great screen capture. Yes, it doesn’t look like an officer at all in that picture. Looks like an older white guy with a receding hairline and glasses, obviously dressed up as you pointed out with the cufflink.
Do Capitol police dress in suits? That crisp white shirtcuff (along with the cuff link) seems odd. He also looks kind of shaky, the way he comes forward, shoots & then jumps back. I’m wondering if he was actually law enforcement.

Can’t recall a police plain clothes officer who wore cuff links on the job.

Capital police certainly don’t were white shirts and french style cuff links. So, that lines up with rumors it was a congressman.
We, the People aren’t allowed to carry inside the Capitol so how is it this cold blooded murderer is?
