Members of Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation described the violence at the U.S. Capitol as a “disgrace” and “unacceptable.”

U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, a Lehigh County Republican who had said it’s time for all lawmakers to accept Biden’s victory, denounced the invasion of the Capitol.
“This is an absolute disgrace,” Toomey said.
Toomey spoke on the Senate floor Wednesday night in defense of Pennsylvania’s election.
“We witnessed today the damage that can result when men in power and responsibility refuse to acknowledge the truth,” Toomey said. “We saw bloodshed because a demagogue chose to spread falsehoods, and sew distrust of his own fellow Americans. Let’s not abet such deception. Let’s reject this motion.”
This is an absolute disgrace. I appreciate the work of the United States Capitol Police under difficult circumstances. I am currently safe as are the few members of my staff that are currently at the Capitol complex.

And Toomey went along with it the entire time. Too bad he won't run for Senate again. He needs to be repeatedly abused and humiliated in a primary. We need to make his life absolutely miserable until he leaves office.
While I don’t think yesterday was at all helpful, except as bait to trick the Left into starting a war they are likely but not certain to win, I will say one thing.
It was a nice to see our politicians cowering under their desks for an hour or so, afraid of a lynch mob. As Chesterton said, “It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged.”

You can’t allow riots in one city and do nothing and condemn riots in another city. If I recall, The Wisconsin state capital was under siege during the Scott Walker recall riots, nary a word of condemnation. Can’t have two sets of rules, that is a big problem and the media is a BIG part of it.
Well, considering all the cars that were torched, businesses that were broken into and looted, windows smashed, all the police cars defaced and overturned, fires set - I agree it was a "disgrace" and "unacceptable."
