If Trump didn’t fight as he did, the Base would have abandoned him, and he’d have nothing.
Yes, he may have lost some, because of the recent weeks, but I believe, because most of us here, understand that he took it as far as he could, and fought, even if it didn’t work out in the end, we will stay with him, whatever may come.
