President Donald Trump publicly acknowledged that he would leave office on January 20 for the first time Thursday, pledging an orderly transfer of power after Congress affirmed President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College win.
"Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th," Trump said in the statement, repeating false claims he has made throughout the last two months. "I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it's only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again."

You should take a couple of Midols and get some sleep. You’re embarrassing yourself.

Go Galt
starve the beast
look for the quality of life here to go down hill real fast
Anyone heard if Heels Up has resigned her Senate seat yet...?
She doesn't have to resign for 13 more days. In the mean time she has a paycheck, insurance coverage, and gets to vote against anything Trump sends to Congress. What's the downside for her?
One has to wonder that if Trump had surrounded himself with competent legal advisors instead of Rudy & Co. then some of these losses in court would not have happened. Instead he went with people more interested in their future that Trump’s, and with their own publicity over serious work.
The one thing I deeply regret is that, since the US economy depends on consumer spending, going Galt will hurt fellow Americans if enough of us do it.
But I will not feed the beast.
Suppose Trump invokes the Insurrection Act on a Monday and the courts strike it down on Tuesday then what?
Pence is dead to me too.
The ‘antiChrist system’ is being implemented all around us.
Emotions need to be balanced with rational critical thinking.
The Devil is running the show now...
No, neither of them. Someone posted Trump/DeSantis, sounds much better.

His lawyers sounded pretty solid on the leaked call. Trump had all the facts at his finger tips. They were met by stonewalling from the GA GOP. I think it’s more a case of the courts taking their cues from the GOP. They all want Trump gone. The bipartisan manner of the coup is the lynch pin of it all. No judge was going to stick their neck out for POTUS when even his own party won’t.
Pence was a shocker

Nope. That’s Pence. He’s been mainline GOP his entire career. He was in House leadership with Boehner/Cantor/Ryan. Caved to the left as governor time and again.
None of whom were Rudy Giuliani, Sydney Powell, Lin Wood, or Jenna Ellis.
I think it’s more a case of the courts taking their cues from the GOP.
We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I have to believe that competent attorneys could have at least given the courts pause, if not actually winning some of the arguments. Trump went with his gut on selecting his team instead of ability and it may have cost him.
Call the Board of Elections office in your county or municipality and ask how and where you can make the change.
Orderly transition = no last minute release of documents or scorched earth exit.
