Prime Minister Boris Johnson has condemned the "disgraceful scenes" in the US, after supporters of President Donald Trump stormed Congress and clashed with police.
Rioters breached the Capitol building where lawmakers met to confirm Joe Biden's presidential election victory.
The PM said it was "vital that there should be a peaceful and orderly transfer of power".

Never had a Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. account. Only signed up with Parler the end of June, but will probably log out of it in the near future, and not go back. Frankly, I don’t know what people see in them. I’ve been here for 23 years, and it’s suited me fine.
Rest his soul. My grandfather spent months in a hospital after fighting on The Meuse-Argonne. A German poison gas attack burnt his lungs bad. He suffered shortness of breath for the rest of his life because of it.

Near as I could tell it was a tiff between cousins. A bunch of hide bound inbred European louts with lots of money and nothing else to do.
