Let’s try this.
She and a bunch of people break into your house.
You beat feet to your last retreat and safe room.
You can here them tearing things up and you actually have people on a radio telling they are fighting with your buddies.
You have no where else to retreat.
You don’t know what is on the other side of the door but, your loved one are depending on you to defend their lives.
They break through the glass and continue to press against your door, which you barricaded in hopes it will last but, will it?
At what point are you allowed to defend your loved ones lives and your own?
I grant the woman was unarmed but, how do you know?
All you know is the place has been overrun, fights with your fellow LEO are taking place and now you feel your life may be in peril.
What do you do?

The same ROE that contemplates someone breaking into my home and I, looking down a dark hallway, see some people coming toward me.
I have no where else to go and my loved ones are behind me.
I shoot.
Later it is learned the one person I shot is unarmed.
How am I to know and if you deem it wrong, then when would I have been justified in defending the lives of my loved ones and my own?
Those ROE’s would not even fly in Afghanistan. It was a politically motivated murder
