his [Turtle's] speech will center around his fear that the objections will tear his party apart No, McConnell, you have already done so. We need a new Constitutional Party that will caucus with what will be left of the GOP to form a coalition majority in 2022.

Mitch has moved to a position of being nominally relevant, and lacking much in the way of power. But he is pleading to let the swamp rebound to at least restore his cash flow from China.
It reminds me of the scene in Braveheart, where the outnumbered Scot army is leaving, and the nobles are pleading with them to stay so they can go broker a deal for themselves with the English.

In other words don't stand up and fight! Fecklessness, duplicity and treachery from the Scum of the earth country club C of C Republican elites as opposed to the take no prisoners no holds barred ruthlessness of wealthy lib gentries. These people need to pay taxes and they need to pay a lot more. That is the only way you can cure fecklessness from the GOP elite and make the Dem elite understand that if they champion socialism they will end up paying for it.

The horse is out of the barn. The distinction between the GOP establishment and on-the-ground conservatives has been drawn. See ya Mitch.

This isn't about party, this is about integrity in elections.
And 13 senators aren't rogue, they're raising legitimate concerns.
McConnell seeks to deny us that redress.
To: RummyChick
McConnell needs to be removed from his Senate leadership position.
I would say removed from the Senate as well, but he would be replaced by a Democrat governor.

Some say a new party should be created.
I agree, but not as they think.
McConnell and his circle of traitors should be kicked out of the GOP. They can form a new party as they desire.

No one I know is voting for the Communist Light party of the Republicans. We deregistered to vote since there are no elections anymore. There is only communist declarations of who they chose.
The GOP did not fight to respect and retain my vote and allowed it to be stolen. The GOP fights for nothing. They sit back, let sh*t happen, then proclaim they are the answer. The GOP is NOT the answer to anything. They are part of the problem.

You’re history, Mitch.
There is not ONE true conservative in the 50 states who has ANY respect for you anymore.
Go have drinks with Mitt and Karl Rove.

I hope they do kill off the Republican Party.
Good riddance to bad rubbish!

(Trump trumps Hate)
I am continually surprised at the number of people on this site who do not see that Trump is not “beloved” by the GOP in government.
Think of it this way: The folks in Congress and the government are standing next to the “swamp” with a 10 inch hose starting to fill it back up; waving their middle finger at Trump as he is flown away.
The “return to ‘normal’” is so close they can taste it.
Watch—after the Biden administration takes over the people who were “Trump Supporters” in DC will turn on him as if he were a leper.
Thinking that anyone in that morass is going to lift a finger to help Trump is delusional.
It doesn’t matter what you want or think you want. The only thing that counts to these people is lining their own pockets. You and I do not matter. We never have.
How is that not obvious?
