Police will do what they are ordered and paid to do.

$65,400 - Median annual salary of a police officer in the United States

$50,620 - Median annual salary of all other occupations in the United States

$55,070 - Median annual health care, retirement and other benefits of a police officer in the United States

$21,726 - Median annual health care, retirement and other benefits of all other occupations in the United States
