Democrats win one Georgia runoff and lead in second, moving closer to U.S. Senate control

ATLANTA - Democrats won one hotly contested U.S. Senate race in Georgia on Wednesday and pulled ahead in a second, edging closer to control of the chamber and the power to advance Democratic President-elect Joe Biden’s policy goals when he takes office this month.

Democratic challenger Raphael Warnock beat Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler, TV networks and Edison Research projected. Democrat Jon Ossoff held a narrow lead over Republican David Perdue in the other race, with a final outcome not expected until later on Wednesday.

With 98% reporting, Warnock was ahead of Loeffler by 1.2 percentage points, roughly 50,000 votes, while Ossoff led Perdue by more than 12,000 votes, according to Edison Research.

Democrats must win both contests to take control of the Senate. A Democratic sweep would create a 50-50 split in the Senate and give Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, as president of the Senate, the tie-breaking vote after she and Biden take office on Jan. 20. The party already has a narrow majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Jewish voters who virtue-signal for the Democrats had better wake up and realize that the future of the Democrat Party is total anti-Semitism.

Why am I not surprised? He who counts the votes always wins. More corruption on its way to Congress!

I don’t recall any information showing that Lin Wood and his moronic followers boycotting the vote were Jewish.

The outcome of the elections in Georgia is almost certain proof that there was fraud. How the hell can a conservative state like Georgia elect both Joe Biden and two Democratic senators ? If New York all the sudden turned 100% Republican people would have a right to take notice

Metro Atlanta has become like Northern Virginia. While conservatives were being told Texas was going blue, Colorado, then Virginia, then Arizona, now Georgia, and soon N. Carolina having absorbed leftists from out of state and overseas are the Republics death rattle.

On losing the election in 1945, Churchill's wife attempted to console him by remarking that perhaps the loss was a "blessing in disguise."

Churchill replied, "rather effectively disguised."

At the risk of sounding inane, perhaps this result is a blessing no matter how effectively disguised. Even if we had taken one or two Senate seats in Georgia the rinos in the Senate likely would have sold us out on Cardinal policy issues so the loss is marginal and perhaps not too great a price to pay if it diminishes the power of Mitch McConnell.

More broadly, it opens the market for conservatives. No longer are we in a place in which we must hold our nose and vote for a rino to save a whoring Republican majority in the Senate who will sell us out anyway.

More broadly, we can actually campaign against rinos in the Senate and in the House of Representatives and build a new party in Washington and, by extension, in statehouses across the country.

The disguise looks unpleasantly effective right now but maybe it is really an opportunity that we will recognize when the fetters of attachment to a cancerous party fall away.

Yeah it’s happening. A lot of us saw this coming. I don’t know your post history but what part of fraud don’t some of you get?

there was no question the marxists would win. Stacey admitted she had 1.2 million “absentee” votes ready to go. This is the new reality. We must all fight in their sandbox. register the dead. Register the illegals. Launder illegal votes through the courts. Stop taking the high ground,

Exactly. Demographics is destiny and once again civic nationslism, the god of neocon globalists, gets kicked in the teeth.
