You evidently weren’t paying attention during high school history classes. Tyrannical dictators killed several hundreds of million of their own citizens in the last century alone!! They’d just congratulate themselves if they could wipe out a few thousand “Deplorables,” like they did on 9-11.
Oh, you’re referring to those silly purges that Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Ho and Castro did which killed millions of innocent people and some once-reliable communists.

Friends and acquaintances of mine have been in nearly every Communist slave labor and concentration/execution camp in the Red World, from Vorkuta, to Potma, the Siberian RR slave labor transport line camps to Lake Baikal, Pyong Yang, Hanoi Hilton, Romanian and Cuban prisons, from Sandinista oppression to the Hungarian Revolution.
Even met one of Mao’s bodyguards who defected during the Cultural Revolution because he was appalled by the internecine slaughter between competing Mao student groups and what they were doing to the “elders”.
Life has been my “history class” including Vietnam and Cambodia.
