Not surprising, considering that Newsom put Tom Steyer in charge of California’s recovery last year. I remember Steyer saying that the recovery would be clean, green, and equitable.

So, let's review the priority of family expenses...
Pay debts
Food, shelter, health and safety of family
Saving for the future (kids college, retirement, emergencies)
But wait, let's toss all that responsibility out and buy an electric car that we don't need (and really don't want) so we can travel halfway to our destinations.
