IMO America needs Sen Joe Manchin to caucus with GOP, if we lose the Georgia senate seats
Rintintin and Sen Joe Manchin website ^ | Jan 5 2021 | Rintintin

Sen Manchin claims he’s a moderate and says he opposes ending the filibuster. He’s from the Trump-loyal state of WV. If GOP loses both GA Senate seats tonight - I hope we dont, but it’s possible - then the only thing saving America from one-party Dem rule in DC would be Manchin switching parties or going independent and caucusing with GOP.

West Virginia may be “Trump-loyal” but Manchin is “Schumer-loyal”.

If Manchin switches to the GOP he’ll be primaried out in his next election. I’m sure he thinks his chances are better staying where he is.

WV people and legislature will need top make Joe feel the heat. Constantly.

If he's the future deciding vote in favor of passing gun control, the green nude deal, endless Trump investigations, etc. his career is over, he may as well resign 4 years early.

By who? We couldn’t beat him in a 70/30 state in the general election - meaning tons of Republicans voted for him, so he has a very, very, large following among Republicans to start with. If he does save the country...that would only increase.

I need to be a cowboy, or an astronaut. Why would he leave the steamroller party that gets things done for the feckless, needs some extra strength viagra party that can’t stop hitting attacking it’s own President?

Think about it. If you were him, why would you even consider jumping ship? If he was patriotic, he wouldn’t be a Democrat in the first place.

Joe Manchin said Joe Biden didn’t lie about Ukraine because it’s not in his DNA!

Manchin does what Nancy says......

It’s clear.

He won’t. He’s about to become the most powerful Senator in the country and he knows it. Why give that up?

I expect he’ll side with the GOP to oppose stuff like GND, additional statehoods, or expanding SCOTUS, but he’ll fall in lockstep with his party when Biden want judges confirmed.

I wouldn’t put it past Romney to switch to Rat or caucus with them if a tie.

“ No, we need to give the electorate what they voted for.”

Sorry, Manchin crossing the aisle might be the only thing that saves the Republic.

Manchin is not independent. He voted to convict the president on both counts in the impeachment trial.

Manchin went on to say that Republicans lie and he doesn’t know a single Democrat that is a socialist.

He does what Chuck and Nancy tell him.

It’s time for Texas and the other Constitution abiding states to cut Washington, DC (District of Corruption) loose to fend for themselves. We can get along just fine without those scum sucking parasites.
