Most people of the population at any given time are passive. Go along to get along. One of the big reasons why there should NEVER be a universal franchise. It is the death of the Republic.

A couple of guys before Prager have expressed what goes on:

"In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations."-- Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn

"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle."--Edmund Burke

The key is summoning up the courage to confront it.

One thing remarkable about Germany is how quickly it went from being considered one of the most enlightened nations in the world to the Nazi depravity.

Snitching...one of the reasons leftists want to cram everyone onto public transportation and into cities where potential snitches are everywhere.

I understood this long ago.

The Left has been very successful at taking over the Media.

They held it, virtually unchallenged, for decades.

Now that they have been challenged, the gloves have come off and they are for full-blown censorship.

The "good German" was also someone who had
family members "taken away never to be seen again"
if the "good German" dared lift a finger to help Jews.

So there's that.

I have little doubt the left would send outspoken conservatives to reeducation camps if they could ...

Not if. When.
Public health.

Half of America, the non-left half, is afraid to speak their minds at virtually every university, movie studio and large corporation -- indeed, at virtually every place of work. Professors who say anything that offends the left fear being ostracized if they have tenure and being fired if they do not.
I just had a flashback to when Obama destroyed a lot of auto dealers for being Republican.

Outsider Trump is a "Republican auto dealer” writ large.
And that is why the socialists have to get him.

It's worse than that. Anyone advocating effective, time proven, VIOENCE as a response to illegal/unConstitutional/despotic government is automatically either censored or written off as a kook/extremist.

When the Founders got tired of the King's crap, they didn't sit around and hope that the next election would fix things.

IMHO the only possible antidote is for SCOTUS to overturn the New York Times Co. v. Sullivan decision which prevents Republican politicians from establishing the truth in a court of law when (not if) they are libeled by leftists.

. . . and unless the Democrats are somehow prevented from stealing the two Ga. Senate seats, that won’t happen.
