SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Force (SPF) can obtain TraceTogether data for criminal investigations, said Minister of State for Home Affairs Desmond Tan in Parliament on Monday (Jan 4). The SPF is empowered under the Criminal Procedure Code to obtain any data, and that includes the TraceTogether data, said Mr Tan. "The Government is the custodian of the TT (TraceTogether) data submitted by the individuals and stringent measures are put in place to safeguard this personal data," added Mr Tan. "Examples of these measures include only allowing authorised officers to access the data, using such data only for authorised purposes and storing the data on a secured data platform." Mr Tan was responding to a question from Member of Parliament (MP) Christopher de Souza, who had asked if TraceTogether data will be used for criminal investigations and what the legal provisions and safeguards are for using such data.

New York. Cuomo and his cronies are power mad.
Oops, yeah. Cuomo. Easy to forget him when De Blasio is a full-on CCzp-virus Nazi. Wonder which Governor will be the first to ask Singapore how it’s done -That’s why absolutely no activated tracing app will be found on my phone ever, and all paper tracing requirements uses Deez Nutz and 867-5309.
So you have Jenny Jenny on speed dial?
“Crimes” in Singapore are spitting your gum into the gutter, eating a french fry on the subway or refilling you drink at a fast food restaurant.
The government has unlimited power to destroy you if someone in government wants to.
Another 2008 style economic downturn will be wild. Big government keeps their money coming (taxes don’t go down) while their population’s ability to pay those taxes goes away. We didn’t even have smart phones/social media back in 2008.
Well so long as it is only when “authorized”....
Yep. No one understands the number. Found her name and number on the wall though.
Yep and that’s a good thing.
Last riot Singapore had was when Indians rioted a few years back. No more riots and no more drunk Indians causing trouble.
Lot safer than (any US city). No graffiti either.
Well 1000’s of resumes sent out since my MLB furlough in April. Not 1 bona fide interview in the US. Only Dalit recruiters, hiring managers and engineering teams.
Just get hired as an Online Course Coordinator at a big Animation School in Singapore.
Happy that I’m employed again, but unhappy I am forced to leave the US to do so.
