There is nothing more corrupt and illegal than the government deciding that a certain group of people are not entitled to their legitimate income. Forcing landlords to pay the way for tenants even when those landlords destitute themselves. Our founders went to war over tea. This is far worse. Every politician involved in this illegal act should be stripped of everything they own an the money should go to the landlords.

How are they not in violation of:

“No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws ....”

They are in violation, but, there’s no controlling legal authority.
They will keep going until we decide we’ve had enough.

The owner can refuse to pay the taxes and upkeep since he already is destitute. Put the full burden on the city and state. Watch how fast the city tries to make the tenants pay then.
