Weeks before a presidential inauguration, the District of Columbia would normally be humming with construction vehicles, putting the finishing touches on preparing for thousands to flock to the nation's capital.
But this week, work crews actually worked on taking some erected structures down.
On Tuesday, workers broke down the reviewing stands that were put in place in front of the White House for the 2021 Presidential Inaugural Parade.
President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris plan to take the oath of office in front of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 20, but with limitations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The presidential inauguration committee has urged people not to travel to Washington, D.C. and instead is planning live-streamed programming.

I really think this is the real reason. They don't want to embarrass themselves. I, for one, am glad. Hate to see Bush and Clinton and Obama all up there grinning like Cheshire cats and basking in the spotlight. I wasn't planning on watching anyway. I was looking forward to see what Melania would wear.
Biden can run but he can’t hide. He would want to have an investigation of possible fraud, if he was not afraid of the results. He knows he lost. The country knows he lost. He can’t hide the fact he lost.

Hundreds of thousands. I’m thinking 1.5 million.
I live 90 minutes northeast of DC. For the last March for Trump, the local GOP filled a bus. They have ELEVEN buses this time.
And the election was chapter 1. What is the next chapter?
The question is how to disrupt the inauguration, preferably without getting arrested or shot. But disrupt it we must.
