Based on recent TV news and commercials i’ve seen, black females alone must be at least 50% of US population.

Absolutely, and they are married to white guys and live in beautiful upper-middle-class suburbs with plenty of white friends who enjoy barbecues with them. Their kids play with a few token Asians, just for good measure. Commercials are not intended to reflect reality but rather aspiration.
