The "system" is very rigged. It's similar to pro wrestling. The GOP has become a useful construct and tool of the left and serves as a lap dog party in order to make it appear that there is a real two party system.

The election system is now so rigged that DEMS could be a super duper majority if they wanted. But these leftists are Machiavellian at heart. They can't let things get too obvious. They will rig it so some chosen harmless GOPers still win. You need to have two teams on the field for show.
