first of all blood thinners are not thrombolytics they are 2 different thinks. thrombolytics are not used to prevent clots. There are a number of agents that can be used prophylactically in multiple dosing regimens. i e do know that in covid patients we use a higher dose than we normally would but they work the same way against clot as in any other illness
