COVID = Influenza

More accurately, for reporting purposes, COVID, Influenza, and Pneumonia are lumped together a bin, (called CIP), and reported as all being COVID.

I would bet a substantial amount of money that if the gubmint stopped payments to hospitals for Covid reports and started payments for flu reports the numbers would flip.
