Sen. Josh Hawley (R. MO) officially stated that he will object to the Electoral College vote count to be held in the Senate on January 6. May this courageous man be the first of many Senators to take a stand against the overwhelming evidence of election fraud. If neither candidate wins enough Electoral College votes on January 6, Trump should win – and it’s all in the Constitution without the need for any strained statutory interpretations.
Let me start with an overview of what happens on January 6. It’s crucial to appreciate how this can end if Hawley is joined by several Senators who refuse to certify Electoral College votes achieved through manifest fraud. I’ve culled this information from Petr Svab’s excellent article at The Epoch Times (hat tip to Dan Bongino):
The Twelfth Amendment to the Constitution is the primary authority for events on January 6. The Electoral Count Act (3 U.S.C. § 15) plays a role but, thankfully, that Act is probably unconstitutional in one very specific and important way.
Under the Twelfth Amendment, the President of the Senate (i.e., Mike Pence) opens the certificates sent from the states “and the votes shall then be counted.” That’s all that the Constitution says about the Vice President’s role.
Meanwhile, 3 U.S.C. § 15, enacted in 1887, after prescribing details for conducting the count, says that members of Congress can object. If one House member and one Senator objects, that triggers a separate vote about the objection by both the House and the Senate. If both House and Senate agree there’s a problem, the challenged Electoral Votes are gone.
In this election year, having voices in the House and Senate to challenge the results is important. As we’ve seen, courts have punted on the question of fraud, effectively denying due process

If PA and 2-3 other state legislatures do THEIR jobs - decertify illegitimate election results and cure the results with legitimate electors...Trump wins.
And I’ll win the lottery the next time I buy a ticket. Sure. It is over, all of this is idle wishful thinking. Trump did not spend the money to fight the election, put it in the hands of Giuliani, who has played for a Hail Mary, instead of doing the hard work.
This is just simple unadulterated Bull54!7. Enough Senators? How much is enough? Can we count more than five that would stand up? Is that enough or do we need ten?
Come on man! This is just throwing out bones.
Heads we the people win, tails they lose.
Hillaryous Rotten Criminal can do the coin toss.
51 Senators plus a majority of the House, I believe. Otherwise the one certified set wins.
bkmk
Ted, will you be joining Josh, or sitting on your thumb along with your fellow senator from Texas?
Deep State McConnell will oppose this he is a dickhead bought by the Chinese.
So far there is only one.
The rest are frauds.
What is theoretically possible via Constitutional provisions doesn’t actually matter since no one has the courage to do what’s legal for fear of angering Twitter. The constitution almost no longer matters. The system the framers created has been dead or dying since the Senators started being elected by state wide elections and no longer controlled by state legislatures. Both houses now “represent” the people and no one represents the state. None of the protections that exists work without someone there in defense of the rights of the state.
Every Senator that voted on the 2nd article of impeachment projected that they do not agree with the Constitution giving the president separation of powers.
They are the enemy of the people and the Constitution.
Take no prisoners. Every senator that voted against the 2nd article of impeachment should be raising question of conflict to the electors of every state that has used the Dominion voting machine system.
You need a majority vote in the House as well.
What happened to Tommy Tuberville?
I don’t think there is a decertify option. They need to vote a slate of electors at this point or order a new vote. They are not in office any longer the session is done until Jan 5 or 12 i forget which.
If I was a Georgian I would be mad as hell and not only vote but bring out every relative and friend to vote - dead or alive!!!
This is embarrassingly stupid. Both Houses have to vote to reject the electors, not just one, in order to invalidate them and lead to an election by Congress.
The American Thinker continues in its total nonsense across the board.
