I think mitch has been at the root of it all along. The mere fact that mcconnell never put the senate in recess so Trump could make recess appointments told me everything I needed to know. mcconnell has been in full control of who Trump could nominate for his cabinet, and also made sure that all judges were part of the Federalist Society.
