I completely agree the fear mongering by the media and government over this illness is insanity... Intentionally induced mass hysteria.
However, for folks here, and many of them, to keep saying someone died of a heart attack it can’t be Covid, is nonsense.
Severe case of Covid, means you are almost certainly suffering from ARDS... you aren’t oxygenating your blood appropriately because your lungs are full of fluid. Just like folks trying to claim they died of Pneumonia means it couldn’t be Covid.
The details of what surgery he had, are missing so its impossible to know.. but if they were trying to clear his lungs and failed and he died of a heart attack a few days later, that’s pretty much a COVID caused death.
The information from this article certainly does not imply that this man did not die from complications caused by Covid... based on the article, he either had direct complications from the surgery, he only needed because he had Covid, or he was in ARDS and had a heart attack.
Either case would be the direct result of having Covid.
I am all for calling out the ridiculousness of classifying falsely things COVID, but at least from what is reported here, there is nothing in the report that suggests this guys death was note related to the fact he had Covid.
I am not aware of a common surgical procedure used to clear someone's lungs. I have been present when large needles were stuck into people's chests to drain fluid after we transported people in severe respiratory distress to the emergency room. This was not considered a surgical procedure. The public does not know the relevant details surrounding Luke Letlow’s death. It is quite possible that even his family does not know. If you are old and/or sick Covid can become a serious problem, but for nearly everyone else it is typically more of a nuisance or not even noticed.
We do know that a 41 year old man in good health with no co-morbidities dying from Covid is an extreme statistical anomaly. If you are under 65 and in good health your chances of being killed on a daily 40 mile round trip commute are far greater. We also know that the media and authorities have been engaging in extreme misinformation. There are numerous reasons that a 41 year old man who gets sick can die in the hospital almost none of them have anything to do with Covid. Statistically speaking the chances that Luke Letlow died from Covid and not with Covid are highly unlikely. The most likely cause of a healthy 41 year old dying in the hospital from a heart attack is a previously undiagnosed heart problem followed by some type of medical malfeasance or mistake. Covid wouldn't make the it into the top one hundred causes for someone with Luke Letlow's age group.
