100% agree with you. President Trump is absolutely right (as usual) and this is suicidally stupid on McConnell’s part. Yet here we are.

Ultimately what needs to happen is a bunch of GOP senators need to go public supporting President Trump’s call for the increases and push for a clean bill for each of President Trump’s issues. Let the Democrats show themselves to be against election integrity with a clean bill. Let the $2000 checks pass. Let everyone show where they stand on each individual agenda item.

That would require 12+ GOP Senators to buck McConnell. If Trump REALLY ants the $2000 checks, he needs to open up and campaign against McConnell’s tactics. In the absence of that, it will never happen.

How much more “stimulation” does the economy need?? From what I gather, the biggest obstacle to it humming along are the lock downs along with keeping businesses shut. I took a look at interest rates today. Nationally 5 year CDs are paying 1% or so. Why is that. Simple there is so much “money” in the system no one needs it except if the tissue paper runs out. We need people working and making things, not pulling dollars out of the mail box while watching the View.

An aside: if there is no ammo around, why not send everyone a few boxes of 9s which is more valuable than dollars these days.
