The Senate has the ball since the House passed the $2,000 payment. If they don't pass it we may lose the Georgia Senate races and the Senate. Human nature runs stronger to give me the money, especially when there is so much pork in the bill already.

Simple solution: Senate should pass the increase...and the issue goes away and we can get back to wife-beater Warnock and Chinese agent Ossoff.

I know...it's not cash for Pakistan or Lockheed Martin, just We the People. But c'mon GOP, get 'er done.

I think you are correct. If we lose the Senate the Democrats go wild and it will be much worse.

Republican Senators would have to be stupid beyond measure to vote against the $2,000 disbirsements.

Mitt Romney resembles that remark and can be expected to vote against it.

Besides how many more times will Mittens get to vote against Trump’s policies?

67 for what? This isn't an override bill, but a new bill.

And if they sweep Georgia, Kamala becomes Queen of the Senate, breaking every tie in their favor -- including a vote to KILL the filibuster so they can do whatever they damn well please.

Such as $2,000 per WEEK, permanently.

oh they are that stupid...I have no problem with fiscal responsibility...I fully support it HOWEVER the Republicans are sitting on their holier than thou “we are just trying to be fiscally conservative” while they have no problem throwing billions to other countries. It is in your face hypocrisy. If you are going to have no problem approving billions to other countries then DAMN IT give the American people the money...at least we paid for it!

Oh you mean the House rule. Yeah true, but Pelosi said if it fails that she will re-vote late at night in a different type of session that only needs a simple majority to pass.

If my interpretation is right, the theory says that money should be printed until full employment is achieved. It will take long time to get there. Who knows how much money will be printed? We may not even reach full employment.

The GA Senate races wont buy us much, Flimsey Grahamnesty, Micro Rubio, John Cornyn and Thom Tillis are going to give the Democrats a permanent majority with amnesty for illegal aliens.
Wouldn’t be surprised if one or both of the GA Senators vote for it if they win.
