Military service is not remotely connected with any desire for armed revolution or belief in kooky conspiracies. A large majority of my military friends, active and retired, think all of these conspiracy theorists, including qanon and anybody calling for "CWII", are kooks. Are they outraged at some current events and the general direction of the country? Yes. But they don't embrace bizarre fantasies to cope with it.

I don’t follow Q or believe that CWII is right around the corner (Americans are far too comfortable and passive to ever resort to any kind of conflict) but at the same time I do believe that a devious and determined Deep State pretty much runs the country. That has become increasingly evident over the past four years.
