I agree. Think of it. We fought a war against a belief system that held certain races of people had not right to live simply because of what they were. African-American POWs were horribly treated in many cases by the Germans, particularly by the SS.

Have you ever heard of “The Wereth 11’’? Sad story.

The Wereth 11 Memorial in Wereth, Belgium, is dedicated to the 11 black U.S. soldiers
who were killed in the hamlet in 1944 and to all black American soldiers who served
during World War II.
