How God deals with man changed. He no longer talks to us through prophets, he no longer interacts with his chosen people and he has quite frankly taken a powder for that last couple of hundred years.

But, then God has done that before when men, not nations, turn from God. Moses went through hell protecting the Jews from Gods’ wrath. But he spoke directly to God and God to him, so he was able to intercede for his people. God no longer talks to us in that manner. He told us what to do, how to do it and then he stepped back. Everything from that time to this, is a creation of man, governments, nations, regimes none of that is Gods work. We build it and for a time it thrives until it turns from the shared norms (in our case Judeo-Christian). Once we no longer share common norms, the nation crumbles. Half this country no longer shares Judeo-Christian norms, either we have a reformation or we are in trouble. Not in my lifetime, maybe in my children's, but certainly in their children's and grandchildren's life time. We may have just accelerate the decline however. Lots of guns, lots of ammo, lots of hate and no trust in government, not good. Biden and his Ho are not thrones to calm this situation.

Now I understand you completely. You probably would not accept another difference that is, the Lord through His Holy Spirit can now also talk to each of us who have the Spirit.

The Lord said He would pour out His Spirit on us. Young men would see visions and old men would dream dreams. Satan wants you to believe God no longer communicates with us. He wants the Church impotent and for the people to believe that the Holy Spirit has no earthly purpose. Which is why God’s church has so little ability today.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
