Apparently media organizations around the world are chartered to misinform.
About 1890, the Left actively started pushing the old ideology that people were too stupid to govern themselves. That idea started with the Pharoes or earlier. Progressives loved it because they saw themselves as the elite who would be in charge.
They proclaimed the people had to be "guided".
They had to be pushed into doing the "right" thing.
It was the responsibility of the elite, in the Media, to "guide" and push people to form the correct opinions.
This is all openly expressed in leftist/progressive ideology, in their own books and ideological documents.
They openly disparaged self-government, Christianity, the entire idea of right and wrong outside of power.
In 1934, the FCC was created. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt made sure the radio networks were on his side, enforced by his guy in the FCC. They made sure Progressives madeup the people in the Radio Networks.
Then WWII, four years of tight government censorship.
In the 1950s the radio networks became the television networks. Progressives in charge, selective hiring and promotion, progressive only.
By 1960, the TV networks were choosing the next president.
In 1972, they took out a President (Nixon) who was seen as a threat to the Progressive order established by President Roosevelt. Watergate was a media coup.
I traveled to New Zealand years ago and thought it had a lot of class, now it’s becoming a dump for progressives,

Considering the propositions in CA are almost all written to purposefully mislead voters, I don’t doubt this.
The California Assembly consistently writes propositions to mislead voters into voting in the favor of the CA politicians scams, e.g., the gasoline tax. Corruption thy name is California politician and that includes California voter fraud that is the lifeblood of CA politicians.
Seems the spirit of the anti-christ is alive and well.

In what appears to be a pattern, across numerous jurisdictions which have introduced assisted suicide and/or euthanasia laws, overtime the legislation has gradually become more permissive as whatever safeguards were inserted into the law are eroded by doctors and activists.
Actually that is the pattern of all liberal legislations. Abortion when result of rape and incest became swiftly abortion anytime for any reason.
Protecting homosexuals from abuse quickly become abusing of Christians.
Helping few people in pain, quickly became legalize marijuana for all, and now is in in process to legalize all drugs for all.
Hmmm... NBD!
74-million people & 6-million fakes in the U.S. did just about the same thing... But they did understand...
