Main question I have is where to park once I get there. I have a feeling that if a lot of people go, parking will be near impossible within a few miles of the Mall.

My sister lives in the Maryland suburbs within five miles of ground zero. What’s your travel route? I live on a farm in Maryland one minute off of I-68. If you have space for one passenger I’ll pay your gas for a ride. I can get you parked and into Capitol Hill by cab, metro, or my sister (if she’s available) within a 1/2 hour. I also have a room booked in a walk-up on Capitol Hill four block behind the USSC, and I might be able to share it but I’d have to confirm that. If interested, let me know.
