Really. I’m old; I can deal with it. I feel so sad for my four beautiful nieces and nephews, ages 3 to 10, we spent time with at Christmas. Their parents are conservatives, do the right thing, and are worried for their kids’ futures — and rightfully so.
Not to mention what the government is doing to their educations due to COVID. Kids are such a low risk that there is no reason to close schools. Old, vulnerable teachers and staff should remain isolated, but not the kids!
I cannot believe more parents aren’t outraged about how their children’s lives are being ruined.
While one would think home school is the obvious answer, only a small set of parents have the skills or time to do so. Most have to keep working to keep the house and be fed.
