“Blake” was an assumed name. His real family name was Behar. His father was a Sephardic Jew from Turkey or Egypt or thereabouts, nobody seems to know for sure.

Interesting...

What I find interesting about this guy is that he was captured by North Koreans during the Korean War...Then he became a double agent...
