The Christmas morning bombing in Nashville left a wake of destruction that was captured in dramatic photos and videos that made downtown Music City look more like Baghdad or Beirut.
Cellphone footage shot shortly after the massive blast caught victims wailing in panic and screaming for help as flames consumed vehicles parked along North Second Avenue and black smoke filled the sky.
The explosion, which could be felt for blocks, rocked the city just as dawn was breaking around 6:30 a.m.
Officials said cops were already at the scene, having responded to a report of shots fired about 30 minutes earlier.
When they got there, officers found an RV playing a recorded message that warned “a potential bomb would detonate within 15 minutes,” Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake said during an afternoon news conference.
A YouTube video, which Vice Mayor Jim Shulman seemed to confirm as authentic during a CNN interview, has audio of a female voice repeatedly saying, “If you can hear this message, evacuate now” just before the blast.
Witness Betsy Williams told CNN she remembered hearing the sound of gunfire at around 4:30 a.m., and then a “computerized message” from the RV.
“Evacuate now,” Williams recalls the female voice repeating several times.
She later heard the voice counting down, prompting her and her wife to run away from their apartment nearby.
“This vehicle will explode in 15 minutes,” the countdown said, Williams recalled to CNN. Then, “This vehicle will explode in 14 minutes.”

That Network cabling, the ugly blown flat and ejected out the hole above it is a comms server rack system and the reason it was not blown across the road, the cables, held it.

I doubt an Islamic Group would have warned people, or blow a vacant building. This was a planned attack on a data center.

My guess is that whoever did it was “On the FBI’s RADAR screen” for some time and they did their usual, “let it happen so it looks like the FBI is indispensable” deal despite all the carnage it knowingly allows to happen.

Yes. I did a few dig abouts on explosions, ytube has a lot, basically the blast area has more than one concussive area, I mentioned before, either side of the building face vehicles seem to have been blown into the street 90 degrees from the building face, and mass debris in those areas.
One blast does not travel now a building face then take a right angle turn.
Next thing... Look at the tree trunks. Look for burnt sides, , any fallen, where from.
Which direction do they lay.
Expansive gasses go out in a circle. They don’t wander about like a drunken monkey at the zoo.
