The Audit always needed to be verified, or refuted. Not simply accepted or dismissed.
The count on the paper tapes that the scanner/tabulators produced was only 12 votes different than the hand count. The human error that flipped the votes was more than adequately explained by the Republican county clerk. The forensic audit can indeed be simply dismissed, IMNSHO.
